In 1974, his first instrument was the tenor sax which has led him to incorporate the guitar and piano in his musical style. His influences did not just come from “gowing up around a lot of music, especially cantinas” says Pete where latin music is predominantly played, but it was his appreciation of musicians like Jaco Pastorius and Stanley Clarke that make him the bass player that he is today. He is currently teaching guitar and bass in the surrounding area. Pete is one of the most sought after musician in town and we are very fortunate to have another extremely talented musician such as himself in the band.
